Increasing Women’s Participation inside Za’atari Refugee Camp, Jordan (2015-09-31)

This project will train women in the Za’atari Refugee Camp in Jordan to contribute to the camps monthly magazine “The Road” as well as produce an issue exclusively by and for women. The training will be done in 4 different workshops focusing on editing, journalism and design for two groups of 25-30 women.

Supporting Amity with Art in Turkey (2015-08-01)

This project connects both Syrian refugee youths and Turkish youths to enhance life skills through art. The participants of the program will create their own individual paintings. They will then decide together which elements to use and will create two murals within the community under the guidance of 2 artists, one Syrian and one Turkish. Karenni Social Development Center Training Project, (2015-07-31)

Karennni Social Development Centre (KnSDC) will conduct a ten-month training for 50 young adults from June 2015. The training will include non-violent social change, care of the environment, legal rights, human rights, gender issues, children’s rights and community activities.

Once the students graduate they will go on to be mobile trainers spreading knowledge of human rights, the environment and law beyond the local community.

Baby kits and Women’s Health (2015-04-31)

The project will provide Baby Kits to 200 mothers in Ee Htu Hta IDP camp in Burma, thus improving the health and hygiene of the mothers and their newborn babies. The programme will also provide health education and management, and health capacity building training for KWO District and Township level Executive Committees.

Refugee Engagement and Empowerment Project (2015-02-20)

This project focuses on urban refugees who are living in the city without the same protection as people living in a refugee camp.
